Every year around the start of advent, we open the doors of St Margaret's to any in our community who want to know how to make a Christmas wreath. One of our parishioners, an expert in the art, provides a tutorial at the beginning of the event and then comes round to help all those in need of some extra tuition!

 

All of the materials that you'll need are provided - ring, wire, moss, foliage, decorations, ribbons - and participants have free rein to indulge their creative instincts and fashion whatever they want for their front doors. Coffee, cakes and other refreshments are provided.

 

Children are particularly welcome, though we always have people of every age and ability joining in. A modest entry fee is charged in advance, to cover the cost of materials and refreshments and raise some money for the Church.
